Waiters

Six (6) waiters will be available for your function until 24:00 in summer and 23:00 in winter depending on the time of your wedding. Waiters are responsible for drink orders and the cleaning of tables. One (1) waiter per two tables as well as 1(one) waiter for the brides table is recommended. Extra waiters can be hired at a cost of R200 per waiter.

Cash Bar – No credit card facilities

We are a licensed business and can therefore supply / provide all your requirements in respect of bar services.  A corkage fee of R45.00 per bottle is required should you wish to bring your own wine/champagne. No other alcohol or cold drinks will be allowed on the premises. Please enquire at Zakopane for choice of wine and champagne and the price there of.

One (1) barman is available for the duration of your wedding. An extra barman is recommended should there be more than 80 guests. Cost of extra barman is R450.00

DJ

Dj is not included. Own DJ must please abide by the rules of Zakopane.

  • No loud music or base- Managers discretion. Please ensure that the DJ is aware of this.
  • The Manager on duty at Zakopane Country Village will use own discretion to control of the music at the venue and the DJ must be informed of this and control the music not to exceed 85 decibels.
  • Music must be turned off strictly at 01:00 in summer of 24:00 in winter (depending on the start time of your wedding).

Bridal suite & dressing room

Bridal suite 1 is available from 08:00 – 09:00 the next morning. One bridal suite is free of charge and includes a continental breakfast. If the bridal couple required a second bridal suite, it can be reserved at an additional cost of R300 for pre-wedding only (breakfast + overnight stay not included).

Brides getting married on a Friday may use the dressing room in the bridal suite number 1 and sleep in bridal suite number 2.
Brides getting married on a Saturday use bridal suite number 1 and sleeps in bridal suite number 1.
The 2nd bridal suite is only available for the bride and the groom to use and not for guests to overnight.
The 2nd bridal suite is only available for the parents of the bride or groom on a Saturday for overnight. The cost of the room is R740 (breakfast included).
If a bride is getting married on a Friday she will be able to get dressed in the first bridal suite, but will have to sleep in the second bridal suite as the first suite needs to be ready for the bride on Saterday.

  • No beverages and food is supplied by Zakopane.
  • We do not provide cleaning services in bridal or fitting room during the time of accommodation or when busy with the fitting and make-up of the brides and the bridesmaids.

Accommodation

A 100% payment is required within 7 days of making the booking. Zakopane is not a holiday resort and does not offer any activities. Late payments - no keys will be handed out before cash payment is made.  No air-conditioning, television, or cleaning services available in overnight rooms.

The room keys are available at reception from 13:00 on the day of your function.

  • 18 x Overnight rooms are available. Maximum of 2 persons sharing. R680 per room includes continental breakfast.
  • 4 x Family rooms are available. Maximum of 4 persons sharing. R340 per person or R1360 per unit includes continental breakfast.
  • 2 x Family room is available. Maximum of 6 persons sharing. R340 per person or R2040 per unit includes continental breakfast.
  • We invite your guests that are not staying over to come enjoy breakfast with the bride and groom. The continental breakfast is R95.00 per person.
  • Children between 5-10 years pay R50.00 and children under 5 years are free.

Single person per room pays R440 including continental breakfast.
2nd Bridal suite – R780 per unit includes continental breakfast.

Rentals

You can hire additional items for your wedding at Zakopane e.g. candelabras, under plates etc. Please contact us for more information.

Terms and conditions *

Applicable only to Weekdays & Sunday functions: venue available from
11:00 – 18:00.  The barman and waiters are available for your function till 18:00.

Zakopane invites you to a Food tasting on the end of every month. RSVP to book your space.

Viewing of the venue

You are welcome to view Zakopane on Monday to Thursday from 08:00 – 16:00 and Sunday 10:00 – 14:00.
Please note that the venue is closed for viewing on Fridays and Saturdays.  This is an open plan venue. You don’t need an appointment if you just want to view the venue. There will be someone to show you around until 13:00.

Deposit

Once the date has been discussed this will remain valid for seven (7) days.  A deposit of R3500-00 is required to secure this reservation. This deposit is not refunded in case of cancelation.  Should there be any damages or candle wax on tablecloths, the deposit will be assessed and refunded accordingly. Payments / refunds will be made fourteen (14) days after the function. If you are interested holding your wedding at Zakopane, please pay the deposit within seven (7) days
